What would a perfect day look like for you?
From the minute you wake up til the minute you fall asleep, what would that day include?
What if you wrote it out and scheduled all the things that your perfect day would include?
Maybe you’d get up and stretch, meditate, read, or journal.
Maybe that would include some fresh air and time in nature or a nourishing meal.
Maybe that would mean investing in something you’re passionate about and prioritizing that early on in the day.
Take a little time and figure out what your perfect day looks like. Write it down and put it somewhere you can see it.
Now, what would your life look like if you were able to follow that schedule consistently?
Now obviously sometimes life will get in the way and we won’t be able to follow our schedule exactly.
Maybe we stayed up too late the night before and got a late start to the day.
Maybe we spent longer than we planned reading, or meditating.
None of that really matters.
The point is, how much different would your life look like if you could achieve 30% of your perfect day? 50%? 80%?
The point is, even if you’re able to accomplish a fraction of your ideal day, you’ll be putting yourself on a much better path than if you had no guidelines at all.
By defining what your perfect day would look like, you create a map for yourself that will move you in a direction that is of YOUR choosing, aligned with YOUR vision, and YOUR goals.
So I encourage you all to take a little time to imagine what your perfect day looks like, and work towards making that day real every day.
And even if you fail to follow the schedule exactly, you’ll at least be much better off than if you didn’t make any conscious decision about how to spend your time.
